Bogor — A father of a graduate from the “Ben Mboi” Polytechnic of the Defense University (Unhan RI) in Belu, East Nusa Tenggara, expressed his deep gratitude to Indonesia’s Defense Minister, Prabowo Subianto, for covering his flight expenses to Jakarta to attend his daughter’s graduation ceremony on Saturday, August 24.
During the interaction after the ceremony, Prabowo asked the father, Yohanes, about his daughter, Rosalia Virginia Linda, the graduate.
Yohanes thanked Prabowo for the exceptional education provided at Unhan RI, a program initiated by the Defense Minister himself.
“I express my gratitude to Mr. Prabowo for spearheading the education program at Unhan and also for generously funding our journey to Jakarta to witness our child’s graduation. Once again, I extend my heartfelt thanks to Mr. Prabowo. Long live the defense of the nation,” Yohanes stated.
It is noteworthy that Unhan recently celebrated a graduation ceremony for 425 students. The institution offers 12 undergraduate (S1) programs and 7 diploma (D3) programs with a focus on developing competencies in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). (RR)
