Kunjungan Prabowo Macron ke Akademi Militer Indonesia

During French President Emmanuel Macron’s official state trip to Indonesia, President Prabowo Subianto warmly welcomed him at the Indonesian Military Academy (Akmil) in Magelang. The two leaders arrived together at the academy and were greeted with full military honors, showcasing a symbolic diplomatic moment. Macron and Prabowo donned matching white shirts and even shared a helicopter ride from Yogyakarta International Airport to the academy. Once there, President Prabowo took the wheel of a Maung tactical vehicle with President Macron seated beside him, highlighting their camaraderie and mutual respect. The visit, which featured Honor Guards, Mounted Cavalry, and enthusiastic local students waving flags, emphasized the importance of strengthening bilateral defense cooperation between Indonesia and France. Prabowo personally invited Macron to observe cadet education and training at the academy, focusing on enhancing defense capabilities and human resource development in the military sector. This visit marked a significant step towards deepening the relationship and collaboration between the two countries.
