Prabowo Receives U.S. Special Operations Command Honor Medal

President of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, was visited by General Bryan Patrick Fenton, Commander of the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), at the Merdeka Palace in Jakarta. The meeting was focused on strengthening defense cooperation between Indonesia and the United States. Both leaders expressed their commitment to enhancing bilateral relations during the warm exchange. General Fenton presented President Prabowo with the USSOCOM Honor Medal in recognition of his exceptional leadership in advancing defense relations between the two countries, particularly in special operations. The ceremony was attended by other high-ranking officials, including Minister of Foreign Affairs Sugiono, Minister of Defense Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, and Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya. General Fenton praised President Subianto for his visionary leadership in strengthening defense ties and international collaboration, emphasizing joint efforts in counterterrorism, strategic cooperation, and regional security. The meeting concluded with the presentation of the USSOCOM Honor Medal and a ceremonial gift to President Prabowo.
