President Joko Widodo attended the 2025 Indonesian Science, Technology, and Industry Convention (KSTI) at the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB). The event, organized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology in collaboration with ITB, showcased various innovative research products. President Joko Widodo toured exhibition booths, including those featuring VR Dental Hypnosis and VR for Nurses from Padjadjaran University.
In his remarks at the Sabuga Hall, President Joko Widodo emphasized the importance of science and technology for economic growth and equity. KSTI 2025 serves as a catalyst for national economic transformation driven by research, science, and technological innovation, aligning with the government’s vision for Golden Indonesia 2045.
The convention highlights eight national priority sectors, including energy, defense, digitalization, downstream industry development, healthcare, food security, maritime affairs, and advanced materials and manufacturing. KSTI 2025 aims to strengthen the foundation for Indonesia’s future development and prosperity, showcasing the country’s progress in science, technology, and industry.
