Prabowo: TNI Is the People’s Child, Willing to Sacrifice for the Nation

President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, emphasized the role of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) as the “child of the people” during the Operational Troop Review and Military Honors Ceremony in West Java. He underscored the importance of TNI members being prepared to sacrifice their lives to protect the nation and its citizens. Prabowo also urged newly appointed commanders to lead with integrity and treat their soldiers as their own children. He highlighted the TNI’s crucial role as the front line in defending Indonesia and promoting a vision of defensive defense. The ceremony saw the promotion and inauguration of new TNI units, as well as the recognition of individuals for their dedication and integrity. The troop review showcased the strength of the TNI with thousands of personnel and various defense equipment units.
