Prayers for Prabowo and Peace: Monas Independence Day Celebration

The celebration of Indonesia’s 80th Independence Day at the National Monument (Monas) in Jakarta was a vibrant event filled with enthusiasm and cultural parades. Citizens from various regions gathered toward the State Palace to express heartfelt prayers and hopes for President Prabowo Subianto and the future of the nation. One resident, Aryati from Karanganyar Subdistrict, Sawah Besar District, felt deeply grateful for the opportunity to participate in the parade, expressing her happiness and excitement. She voiced her hope for Indonesia to progress and prosper, offering prayers for the President’s health and peace, prosperity, and harmony for all Indonesian citizens.

Her companion also emphasized the importance of national unity and positive changes that benefit all Indonesians. They highlighted the need for peace, prosperity, and safety, urging avoidance of conflicts between ethnic groups and religions. Another resident, Satim from Kampung Rawa, Johar Baru, Central Jakarta, shared his pride in joining the celebration and expressed hope for greater success, progress, and welfare in Indonesia.
