President Prabowo Subianto recently attended the Maulid Nabi Muhammad SAW 1447 H celebration at Istiqlal Mosque in Jakarta, along with Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka, Defense Minister Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, and Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya. The theme of the event revolved around the sustainable practices for the earth and the nation, with Minister of Religious Affairs Nasaruddin Umar highlighting the virtues of love, compassion, and happiness in his sermon. Imam of Istiqlal Mosque, Husni Ismail, concluded the event with a prayer calling for the protection of nature and the promotion of peace, aligning with Prophet Muhammad SAW teachings. The celebration aimed to honor the Prophet and encourage his followers to uphold his environmental principles.
