Prabowo Visits Jokowi: CEPA Progress and Diplomatic Tour Update

President Prabowo Subianto recently visited former President Joko Widodo at his residence in Solo to provide updates on his recent state visits to several countries. During the meeting, he shared details about his international tour, highlighting breakthroughs achieved, particularly with the European Union in the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement after a decade of negotiations. Accompanied by Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka, Prabowo arrived at Jokowi’s residence, where they were warmly welcomed by Jokowi and First Lady Iriana. The meeting, described as cordial and relaxed, discussed various current issues and key points from Prabowo’s 15-day diplomatic tour, emphasizing Indonesia’s strong international standing and commitment to neutrality and peaceful cooperation. Prabowo also mentioned his visit to Belarus, noting potential trade opportunities between the two countries. The discussions underscored Indonesia’s position as a non-aligned country that seeks friendship with all nations and refrains from interfering in the domestic affairs of other countries. The meeting with Jokowi also included State Secretary Minister Prasetyo Hadi, Foreign Minister Sugiono, and Deputy Minister of Communication and Digital Affairs Angga Raka Prabowo.
